Considered the classic lamp and one of the world’s most famous, the L-1 was born in 1937 in the hands of Jac Jacobsen. The Norwegian designer, founder of Luxo Group, sensed that the functionality of your design should be coupled with essential lines and a cost.
Manufactured under these premises, its release became one of the biggest hits of the design, with millions of lamps sold worldwide. In addition to receiving numerous awards and recognition, the L-1 is exposed in several international museums and has been included among the 100 most important built at all times.
After 75 years, in which form has undergone slight modifications, continues to maintain its strength and substance present unique object.
