Three collections of the “Emotional Light” by Arturo Alvarez catalogue will fill with light BioscaBotey showcase during the next two months. The award-winning composition of suspensions CORAL is responsible for presiding this space. The floor lamp GEA and two wall lamps ICARUS close this proposal of sinuous, organic shapes and warm colours.
CORAL brings us back to the seabed. Five suspensions with different forms, but with some elements in common as its organic appearance and its wraparound shape. Arturo Alvarez has specialized in the compositions with their pendant luminaires: lamps of a same collection which, put together in a same canopy, creating sculptural compositions with symmetrical, asymmetrical or cascade shapes. Precisely, CORAL was the winner of the HD Product Design Competition in Las Vegas in 2013.
On the right, there is a floor lamp model, GEA lamp. A sinuous shape that provides indirect and enveloping light. It can be easily combined and it blends into any environment. It has in common with CORAL, in addition to the sinuous forms, the material with they are made. SIMETECH ® is a composite made by hand of a steel wire mesh coated with silicone that Arturo Alvarez has patented. It provides different textures to each creation, creating dark areas unique to the passage of the light (as you can see in detail).
Finally, the showcase closes with two wall lamps with mythological air, ICARUS in their versions of 55 and 80 cm. Two solar disks with LED technology created with a cord of cellulose, which moves and is given shape from the inside. These wall lamps project a uniform light, born from the inside which expands in all directions.
