Pipistrello is a lamp that you can use as a floor or table lamp and it was designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965 for the Italian Brand Martinelli Luce. It is considerate an Italian design icon.
Aulenti used different modelling techniques of methacrylate that were so innovative in that moment. He used that technique, especially in the diffuser and he achieved a modern and atypical shape. The handle is adjustable with telescopic movements and it is made of stainless steel like the basis. You can find all of them in different finishes.
The lamp projects a dim light, homogeneous, that with its design achieved to transmit expresisve strenght in each kind of atmosphera.
