BioscaBotey is a lighting shop founded at the beginning of the 20th century, in an age marked by the new artistic trends as the Modernism, the main architectural projects and a peak of an avant-garde society.

Throughout years, the shop has become a symbolic business of the city and has been part of a lot of projects like Sagrada Família, Gran Teatre del Liceu, a convention center in El Fórum or the Agbar tower.

At the beginning of the 80’s, the shop focused the business in the property sector and in facade projects that took advantage of natural light. From 2011 Biosca&Botey belongs to the Faro Barcelona group, and, thanks to this acquisition, the shop has been modernised and offers the best lighting brands of the world and a selection of ceiling fans. The professional consultancy is, today, one of its best services thanks to an expert team which helps develop the best lighting projects from residentials to big business.
