BioscaBotey welcomes the exclusive brand Lee Broom to our range of products. Lee Broom has been considered one of the leaders in product design in the United Kingdom since its founding in 2007.
Laureated with various awards, including the British Designer of the Year Award and The Queen’s Award for Enterprise, Lee Broom’s designs are presented annually in Milan, New York, and London during their respective Design Weeks. Surrealism, experimentalism, and surprise are the hallmarks of the brand.
Below, we present some highlights from this collection. Its disruptive and innovative designs will inspire and evoke the same passion in you as they do in us.
Orion consists of simple modular lights that integrate opaque and solid polished gold spheres in contrast, as well as tubes of the same material and finish.
Available in both vertical and horizontal arrangements, this collection owes its name to its ability to form customized constellations of light, adapting to the specific architectural requirements of the customer.
Crescent is an illuminated sphere cut in half to reveal a brushed brass half-moon facade, seamlessly combining the solid and the opaque.
Lee Broom, who confesses to being highly attracted to geometric and monolithic shapes, presents in Crescent a great example of his modus operandi: taking classic and recognizable references and proposing a twist that transforms the design into something innovative.
Taking inspiration from telescope lenses and the technique of refraction in both vertical and horizontal planes, Lens Flair emerges as a work divided into two distinct parts, merging opaque and transparent elements. Its main feature is a meticulously carved lens that projects a subtle and dispersed light, in stark contrast to its modern external structure. This elegant novelty is offered with a diameter of 40 centimeters.
Lens Flair is a style statement on its own but also allows for the creation of a celestial installation by grouping several of these hanging lamps.
Altar represents an exploration of the typical angular structures of altars and churches from the mid-century era when natural and warm materials were preferred for elements like benches and fountains.
With a striated and sophisticated shape, Altar is sculpted from solid oak, complemented by a luminous tube that fits perfectly into its architectural grooves. This lighting design is offered in both pendant lamp version, available in three different sizes, and surface-mounted wall lamp model.
The Fulcrum chandelier creatively interprets the idea of pivots and supports, presenting a sculptural and monolithic structure. Its cylindrical stem gives the impression of balancing on a sphere located at its center.
Crafted from solid travertine that provides a tactile texture and a rustic-style finish, Fulcrum incorporates Lee Broom’s essential elements into its design.
Hail draws its inspiration from the interplay of light and shadow commonly observed in ecclesiastical arches through lancet windows. This luminaire is characterized by its elongated design with ribs, made of aluminum. Additionally, it is adorned with reeded glass bulbs distributed asymmetrically along its structure.
Hail stands out for its customization capability, allowing for the arrangement of its lights in various configurations to suit the user’s preferences.
