The prestigious Italian brand Martinelli Luce is the star of our new showcase, which will be available from July to September.
Martinelli Luce is an iconic brand in the world of lighting design, founded in 1953 by the Italian designer Elio Martinelli. The brand stands out for its focus on functionality and innovation, using geometric shapes and drawing inspiration from natural forms.
With a legacy that combines tradition and modernity, Martinelli Luce has left a mark on lighting design.
The centerpiece of our showcase is the Multidot luminaire, designed by Brian Sironi. Multidot is inspired by traditional chandeliers, offering a contemporary twist on this classic suspension, renewing it in terms of composition, expression, and technology.
Its individual cables, adorned with small luminous spheres, allow it to transform from a formal and refined ornament to a sleek and modern lamp. This blend of memory and modernity achieves an ideal harmony between innovation and tradition, making Multidot a focal point that attracts all eyes.
Accompanying Multidot, we find the iconic Pipistrello Pop lamp, designed by Gae Aulenti. Pipistrello is characterized by its telescopic base and its diffuser in the shape of wings, captured at the moment just before their full opening. This frozen form encapsulates the emotional and stylistic essence of this design, combining modernity, humor, elegance, and dynamism, allowing it to withstand the passage of time with unique charm.
However, what truly sets Pipistrello Pop apart is its explosion of vibrant colors that, inspired by Pop Art, turn the everyday object into a work of art, adding a touch of energy and optimism to any space. With Pipistrello Pop, Aulenti invites us to see design as a celebration of light and color.
Our new showcase displays the quality and design of Martinelli Luce luminaires and aims to be a source of inspiration for those looking to transform their spaces with unique and elegant pieces.
The showcase will be available from July to September 2024.
We look forward to seeing you at BioscaBotey!
