Biosca&Botey is launching a new showcase and nothing better to start this 2018 than a small example of the creations of one of the considered “fathers” of Italian design.
Castiglioni studied architecture, although after graduating he devoted himself to design with his two brothers. His designs have become classics of contemporary lighting and are considered icons of the late twentieth century design.
“Design is the search for perfection in the language of forms,” said Achille Castiglioni, speaking of his passion for design.
Edited by the FLOS brand we present 4 models, among them, the brand presents the Snoopy Special Edition desktop exclusively in Barcelona. In its 50th anniversary this 1967 model has been published in a limited and numbered version respecting the original model.
Arco is one of Castiglioni’s most famous luminaries and could not miss in our shop window. We have a led version available.
To complete this show, we have the spectacular and original hanging lamp Taraxacum, as well as the Parentesis lamp with three finishes and many possibilities thanks to its light source regulating system.
Biosca & Botey celebrate the work of this great designer by creating an intimate space full of light designed for lovers of architecture and good design. It will be in Biosca until the beginning of April. You cannot miss it!
