Tomeko Design shows Alessandro Volta Collection and James Watt Collection and, as in most of their designs, the recycled wood and the Edison bulbs are the protagonists. A new proposal that continues with the Brand philosophy: recycle and recover ancient wood beams to create a design with personality and utility for every day.
In Alessandro Volta Collection we can find table lamps with a small and wide support made by woof. The bulbs stands out, in one case because they are held for a longmetallized and reddish neck, and in another case supported directly with a brass “touch dimmer” like the base of the bulb. The plug cables have a vintage style and the same color as the necks because they continue the chromatism of the piece.
In contrast, we find the designs of James Watt Collection, where the wood is a little bit worn-out making a retro design. In that case the bulbs are also a standout, in some options with an elongated and metalized neck too, and in other cases with direct sockets to the wood, where the bulb is lengthened and original.
