Luctra is based on medical study realized by Dr. Dieter Kunz. Light is therefore the essential clock generator which ensures that we sleep well and feel well rested during the day. In our modern world we only rarely go out of doors and spend too little time exposed to natural daylight. But in the absence of light as an important clock generator, our inner clock gets out of order. Fatigue, listlessness and, at worst, depression can be the consequence.
Targeted changes of the light colour during the day enhance our well-being and consequently improve our performance. Since all human beings have their own personal rhythms, it is vital to have the lighting adapted to the circadian rhythm of each user, to provide optimal individual support for periods of activity and periods of rest.
Two LEDs each generate cold white or warm white light. Through their joint operation a wide adjustment range from 2,700 to 6,500 Kelvin is reached, which covers virtually the entire bandwidth of the natural spectrum of light.
This table lamp works with Vitacore System. The brightness and colour of the light can be adjusted with a high degree of accuracy simply by placing a finger on the touch panel.
The Vitacore app turns this lamp into a flexible lighting tool. It will set a personal 24-hour lighting sequence for the user. It varies the light colour automatically, thus simulating the natural change of light in the course of the day.
