The Italian firm LUMINA, presents this year EVE, EVA’s little sister, recently arrived at BioscaBotey. EVA is an indirect up-light tabletop luminaire. The entire assembly sits inside a glass tube with a round machined aluminum base, which houses a single LED, and projects the light upwards, in a reflective cone. Around the base is a free-moving slotted wheel, a rotary regulator that works by adjusting the intensity of the light.
EVE, the smaller version of EVA, is a streamlined variation on the original with a slim metal bezel on top and a tactile dimming base that replaces the gauge wheel. EVE, is available in two frame finishes: black, and anodized brass, and is perfect for illuminating bedside tables or placing on base units. A technological jewel designed by the architecture studio Foster + partners, and that represents a new collaboration of the architect Norman Foster with LUMINA. Without a doubt, the result lives up to the best expectations.
