The composed system of suspension lamps HeadHat occupies a relevant space again in Biosca&Botey. In fact, it occupied the first shop window of the new stage of the shop after gaining the Delta Gold in June, 2013. Although this was not the only award that received this original system this year, since also Dot Design Award was rewarded with a Red Dot Design Award in February.
For this occasion, the lamp designed by Miguel Milà in 1964 is also exhibited, M64 was awarded with the Delta Gold too. This lamp has been re-edited last year 2014 coinciding with its 50 anniversary. Fact that shows the timelessness of this author designs. Only with a minimal modification of the neck of the shade, it was adapted in order to fit it in the HeadHat system.
Talking about HeadHat is talking about an ingenious system that uses a capsule of LED (Head) into which there is fitted a shade (Hat) with different sizes and materials and which multiplies its possibilities.
“Good resolution, simplicity, honesty and flexibility in a system of LED lighting”, these are some of the adjectives that HeadHat got of the jury of the Delta Awards in 2013.
HeadHat and the polished aluminium and brass versions of M64 will be exhibited in Biosca&Botey, you are invited to meet its performance in terms of efficiency and light quality, but also the beauty of these rewarded lamps.
