Thinking of Father’s Day, we have prepared a small selection of table lamps that combine functionality and design. Basically, they are two creations of the studio Pablo Design for Design House Stockholm’s firm. What do they have in common? These lamps are very efficient as they incorporate LED technology, and have won some design awards.
Pixo Lamp, when less is more
Our first proposal for Father’s Day is Pixo, which is an office and studio lamp with a compact design. By incorporating LED technology, becomes an efficient lamp not only perfect for the desktop, but it may also be placed on a side table or nightstand.
Pixo Lamp is designed by Fernando and Pablo Pardo twins, designed to take the movement to its best. Thanks to its arm and rotating head can direct its warm, bright light where you need it most.
In addition, it incorporates features like a USB port for charging mobile devices. This office lamp supports the modern lifestyle. In the words of its creators, “Pixo is the embodiment of less is more”.
Pixo Lamp was awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2012.
Lim Lamp, reduce to maximize
Lim Lamp comes from a study by its creator, Pablo Pardo, based on reductionism. Not considered both a lamp, but a light conductor. Its minimalist form shapes a plane of illumination powered by an equally minimalist light source — a continuous array of high-output, energy-efficient LEDs discreetly concealed in its armature.
Along with a slim, rotatable arm that enables the user to redirect the light, Lim employs a magnetic attachment system that makes it effortlessly portable and adjustable. Lim is really a sustainable lighting solution that minimizes the use of materials while offering the highest level of light and energy efficiency available on the market.
Lamp Lim was awarded in 2010 with the iF Product Design Award 2009 and the Best of Neocon Silver.
These are just two of our proposals, come to the store and find other gift ideas for Father’s Day. We will be waiting for you!
