The JEFFERSON pending lamp from the Italian brand LODES arrives at BioscaBotey. The Mini version of JEFFERSON consists of two elliptical glass diffusers joined in a black chrome frame that seems to make the glass rotate like a spinning top. The addition of cylindrical modules extends the size of the luminaire in small and medium variants thanks to a simple interplay of joints. Three ideal sizes to be combined with each other to create multiple compositions in the shape of a cluster. The compositions are possible thanks to a series of multiple fleurons that ease the installation so that the distances are ideal.
The glass spheres are mounted with interior LED lighting with high color rendering, which provides a mix of glares between the patterns on the surface of the glass and the chrome components that seem to cross the globes vertically; available in black and shiny gold. LODES explains that the JEFFERSONs reinterpret the geometric pattern of Bohemian crystal, and that they do so by means of a pressing technique that engraves horizontal lines along the entire surface of the crystal. An inspiration that reminds us of the psychedelic visual arts of the 60s, and the counterculture movement with kaleidoscopic and rotating patterns. A strong inspiration that JEFFERSON interprets very elegantly in a subtle play of luminous suggestions.
The luminaire, which can currently be seen at BioscaBotey in triple composition and with its latest chrome-plated gold finish, is the work of designer Luca Nichetto, author of three luminaires in the current LODES catalog. An evocative combination of form and sign, classicism and innovation. For BioscaBotey, the JEFFERSON and its compositions represent a refined solution for transforming any home space into a warm and ideal habitat for living”.
