A dialogue between light and shadow’, this is how the Belgian Maarten de Ceulaer presents the new collection of GRADIENT wall lights for Vibia.
With a minimalist style and pure lines, these wall lights are ‘abstract volumes’ with two geometric shapes: a round one and a rhombus, which change completely when the light is switched on.
The light is soft and plays with the reflection of the lamp body while projecting a ‘gradient’ of shadows on the wall. Both figures are finished in black and white.
GRADIENT responds to the poetic and detailed spirit of its creator. Maarten de Ceulaer is known for designing in an unconventional way seeking the use and emotion of each object, and likes to explore new materials and new production techniques in each piece.
