Foscarini surprises us, not only for its designer’s lamps, the inspiration behind every lamp catches our attention and we fell in love with it.
Spokes is a pendant lamp designed by Vicente García Jiménez and Cinzia Cumini. The designers inspired by the wheels of bicycles and the oriental culture to create this simple but elegant lamp.
Metal wires are multiplied and are curved gracefully at the end, giving a light and ethereal volume lamp.
Spokes has two LED light sources in opposite way, that is, they give light up and down. The lighting system gives a diffused light and allows to create a pattern of light and shadows.
The set of these lamps create a hypnotic game thanks to the different shades and colours, the reflection and rolling cause a movement similar to a bicycle wheel.
Following the Eastern tradition, the Chouchin collection is inspired by the lamps of paper of the same name of the Japanese culture. Ionna Vautriun, a French designer based in Milan, is the creator of this family of Foscarini.
The intention of Vautrin to create was to develop a product with a simple design but who picked up the light and circulate with the same grace that the paper lanterns.
Three different colours and multiple sizes, there are perfect for create lighting installations.
Made of glass, the reverse version gives a twist to the original colors and instead of having the body colour and light ring, in Chouchin Reverse functions are exchanged.
Curious is the way in which these lamps are manufactured. The full body of the luminaire is created with a single blow of the glass.
Chouchin boasts a modern, fresh and youthful style. If you want to know a little more of these two collections of Foscarini hope in Biosca & Botey.
