Gonzalo Milà and Alex Fernández have paid tribute to the mythical terracotta amphorae in the AMPHORA floor lamp for Bover.
With a nod to the ancient gardens decorated with this Mediterranean element, the lamp has a simple and modern finish. The lampshade is made of synthetic fibre and is handcrafted and rests on a tripod-shaped structure.
The light source is ‘collected’ inside the screen thanks to a polyethylene structure, which is projected through the fabric bringing warmth to the space. Although it is an outdoor lamp at the entrance – it has an IP 66 – it can also be a light and decorative element for closed spaces.
It can be found with the screens in brown or beige finish.
